Speakeasy Clothing Company - San Diego

Kay Smith Was walking around the neighborhood as I work a couple blocks away and fortunately came across this store . I thought it was going to be another typical overpriced “vintage “ used clothing store and it is not . They have so many amazing clothes and I loved how the clothes were arranged by color and garment design. I walked out with an amazing dress that is cotton ( rare to find ) for only $20 bucks . I could have definitely purchased more items but I will be back , Check this place out . New clothes and great quality and amazing deals. Let my coworkers know to stop by :)

Elysia Guillen This spot clearly went viral, so you’ll see shoppers coming in from all over. It’s almost always busy. The store is large and well organized, with sections for home décor, electronics, books, men’s, women’s, children’s clothing, and toys. There’s also a wall of vintage/on-demand pieces, which are priced significantly higher, and some higher-quality items are kept behind the counter. You can score a deal if you’re lucky, but some pricing may cause sticker shock. Bags must be checked in at the front, which helps with loss prevention but is good to know ahead of time. A few things to know before you go: • Free parking in the lot behind the building • Open daily, 9 AM–6 PM • No tag, no sticker, no sale • Donation pickup available • Donation drop-off behind the building with a designated parking space There aren’t any savings boards, but while there are no official sales, items that have been on racks or shelves for a long time may be slightly marked down. One downside is that some inconsiderate shoppers leave areas messy, which can be frustrating, but the staff stays on top of it and works hard to keep things tidy. Overall, it’s a solid thrift store with a big selection and heavy foot traffic.

Jacob Nowatzke I was SO worried they had closed permanently after the fire next door and covid hit in parallel, but theyre still going strong! Owner knows his stuff about hemp and the companies that utilize it. Items arent cheap, but thats the way the hemp market will stay until widespread US production brings prices down. Either way, Ill be in soon for some nice shirts and a couple pairs of socks!!
