JOANN SKYWATCHER This is a fun place to drive by and check out their window display. In fact, I need to be careful that I don’t go too slow and have somebody hit my car while checking out their pretty stuff in their window. So, I decided to go inside and check out what they have these days. There’s a lot of eye candy in their shop. Besides new items, they also have gently used. What they have to offer doesn’t look like it comes from a box store. They have clothing for men and women. There’s a nice selection of cowboy and cowgirl boots. The store has a southwestern feel to it. Besides clothing, they have bolos and earrings too. I love their soft, fringed leather bags. I talked with the owner, who was very friendly. She has had the store for over a decade. There is parking on the street.

Jett Z Great thrift store! Even though it was mostly women’s clothing, I was still able to find some cool men’s shirts that fit my style. The staff was super friendly and helpful as they let me know about some discounts going on, which was a nice surprise. Whether you’re looking to shop or just browsing around downtown, the Discovery Shop is definitely worth stopping by.

Elizabeth Hilbert I was surprised that the outdoor gear section is actually a pretty small part of the store; most of the store is clothing. Though the camping gear section is smallish, I was able to find a deeply discounted Rumpl blanket and some other great stuff. Look forward to coming back when Im in town!
