DeadRockers - (Near Long Beach, CA)

5 /5 Jakob: I’ve been following Dead Rockers on social media for quite some time and have wanted to visit since I found them. We finally made it to Long Beach and paid a long overdue visit. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of clothing and accessories to select from. The options for vinyl records is nice too! Many are exclusive variants to the store! Our teenager was so happy to find shorts there that they like and fit well. This is a definitive must visit spot in Long Beach!!!

1 /5 Sonia Vazquez: First time going into this store Feb 11 noonish close to 1pm. There was younger white female worker. I went in with my friend from and eldest daughter. The worker was just following me with her eyes, I noticed when I was looking at a mug and I just smiled. There was a gold small studded purse I was going to buy and asked about the mug which she didn’t even know the price so I passed. As I was going to buy the $48 dollar purse she turns to my daughter as asks where’s b hat or something like that. My daughter was looking at a pink hat and didn’t place it exactly where they had it. So my daughter goes back and says it’s right here. And the worker says ok. At that moment I tell her I’m buying the purse anymore, as I knew what she was doing. It was clear she’s a racist and if I my skin were white instead of brown we wouldn’t be treated like that. No thanks. I had just left from spending $75 at “Shades of Afrika” prior and the difference in how we were treated is remarkable. I am not a thief.

Makes Me Happy to have Moved to Long Beach, as they Sure Didnt have any kind of Store as COOL as DeadRockers Store in DTLA/ Little Tokyo, where I recently moved away from!
