I asked her a lot of questions because Im new to golfing and she was super helpful and polite! Im really glad she was able to recommend the stickers, balls, and tees that I bought and some basic drills to dial in my swing and posture.

1 /5 Stephanie Gonzalez: Its discouraging to know that some employees lack knowledge of their own stores policies. Its even more discouraging when, as a customer, youre the one educating the employees. I went into the store to request a price match, and guess what? The employee didn’t even know their own price matching policy and neither did the manager, which is even worse. Stores implement these kinds of policies to attract customers and stay competitive. But if employees aren’t properly trained, the issue isn’t just losing one customer today it’s potentially losing many over time. I guess it’s up to the store to determine whether or not this is an issue they want to address. Update- Guess what! Just called customer service and not only did they apologize for the stores lack of knowledge but they priced matched my item.

1 /5 Arih Mendez: I had a really uncomfortable experience at Dick’s Sporting Goods because of an employee named Nick. From the moment I started shopping, he was hovering and watching me closely, which already made me feel uneasy. Things got worse when I was testing out soccer balls—something customers are obviously allowed to do—and Nick abruptly told me to put them down and not “play with them”. His tone felt authoritarian and unnecessarily aggressive, and his body language made the situation even worse. He was walking around with his chest puffed out, acting like he owned the store, which came across as intimidating rather than professional. It felt like I was being treated with suspicion for no reason. Instead of being helpful, his behavior made the entire shopping experience awkward and unwelcoming. I did ask who I could speak with about the situation, and I want to note that Alexis at the front desk and the manager Ricardo handled things well and were respectful and professional when I explained what happened. Unfortunately, Nick’s behavior still made this a very disappointing visit, and no customer should feel uncomfortable or talked down to while simply shopping.

1 /5 Maria M: Let me be clear here- if I were rating the merchandise alone, I would have given this 5 stars. The 1 star is for the manager (at least who I think is the manager). Hes the older Hispanic gentleman of short stature. My partner and I went into the store to buy a specific brand as a gift for a friends birthday (they had it too, but we ended up not purchasing it because of this employee). My wife asked this gentleman a question about an item on sale (a sports bra) that she wanted to buy. He answered her question, but after that he proceeded to follow her around the entire store and continuously hounded her, offering assistance that was neither needed nor wanted. When this employee wasnt harassing and following her, he was stalking me around the entire store as well. We were also told that the dressing rooms were closed, forcing myself and my partner to awkwardly try items on while he watched us. SO damn uncomfortable! We had been to this store several times before and had nothing but pleasant experiences. We cant help but think that his reasons for following us were either presumptuous (yall know what I mean), prejudiced, or downright creepy. Either way, this is our last trip to Dicks, at least while that employee is working.
