5 /5 Mike A: The owner Victoria is one of the nicest humans on earth. I was new in town and had just got my own place. We had met through brief interactions where I was working and she knew of the rental I was in. One night she showed up in her pickup with a bed, kitchen utensils and small appliances pretty much everything a young man would need for a new home. Ill never forget that and will always be greatful for what she did. I donate to her store whenever my family has nicer clothes or sporting goods because I know she will help more people. Thanks Victoria ❤️

5 /5 Roni Java: The Hope Chest is the sweetest thrift shop you’ll ever visit! The owner Victoria is beloved all over the community. She has lovely items and good, terrific-condition clothes and more to choose from. Everyone gets a hug and a blessing for coming by. Love this store, love Victoria and all her patrons.

5 /5 High Sierra Honey: Just for the record, the Hope Chest doesnt have a working restroom. The owner is very accommodating towards all of her customers. She gives away childrens clothes for free, every single day, as she has for the last 27 years. She is a great contributor to our community, and a source of relief to needy families in the area. I have shopped there for years, and never asked to use her facilities, because I knew she didnt have any. Hopefully there are no hard feelings. Shes got the best store in Plumas County.
