Dao Ive visited this shop ever since I was a kid in the 90s It always has great quality suits and everyday wear for great prices. The workers here and the owner Ivette are so kind and welcoming to everyone of all walks of life. This is an iconic place in SJ and is worth the visit

Erina I’m so glad I stopped by Poppies this afternoon! Jordan was incredibly sweet and helpful - she truly made my shopping experience special. I’m such a sucker for jeans, and she offered to help, curating a bunch of options for me based on my size. It felt like having a personal shopper, which I did not expect but really loved! Jordan’s friend Peter stopped by and became an enthusiastic audience member of my impromptu (and poorly-modeled) fashion show. It felt like shopping with friends, and I loved browsing as much as I loved meeting Jordan - an authentic and genuinely warm person! I’ll absolutely be back when I visit Ventura again.

Leigh Ann Loney I needed a last minute birthday gift and went to Bidwell Clothing Co. I had purchased some Christmas gifts here last year and they have such a fun selection of Chico clothing as well as artisan soaps, handmade jewelry etc. The shirt I wanted did not have the right size, so when I asked if they had any in the back I didn’t think I’d be able to get the gift there. Ron very kindly offered to screen print the shirt and have it ready for pickup within a few hours, complimentary gift wrap and all. You can’t get service like that at most places. What a gem!

Glory Customer service is great here! Everyone was so kind and helpful. My only qualm was just lack of sizing with a lot of items.
