I always come here for upcoming birthdays and other events and I am never let down. There is always a balance of new items from new artists and a solid collection of Chico staples. Not only are the items local and quality, but you can ask for your purchase to be gift wrapped free of charge. Next time you have anything to buy for an event, or even a gift for yourself, consider taking the time to go downtown and SHOP LOCAL. This store is amazing and deserves support.

1 /5 brittany scott: I went to made in Chico with my mom and niece who is in college. I am half black and half white so have very brown skin. I was followed in this store from the minute I walked in for no reason. I do not tolerate micro-aggressions and I would never go to this place again after experiencing racial bias.I want to make it clear that there were plenty of other people there for them to pay attention to, but they honed in on me. I was wearing a regular cute summer dress, looked normal, nothing about me that would seem to be doing anything wrong. The only difference between myself and the other customers was my skin color. My feelings are very hurt from the whole experience.

4 /5 Atalia Molaro: Everything is very custom made and from people in Chico. They also hand wrap the item if you want it as a gift. Also for business they will make gift bags with different items around things you told them about the person. Its amazing. It can take a while at check out.
