Madewell - Shop CA (Near Roseville)

Cici Zhang Extremely disappointing shopping experience. I entered the store with 40 minutes left before the mall closed. I spent about 10 minutes carefully selecting four items and was ready to try them on. The mall closes at 9 PM, and there was still plenty of time remaining. When I asked to use the fitting room, I was told it was already closed. There were still 40 minutes left in business hours. Closing the fitting rooms that early — without any posted notice or prior warning — makes no sense. It effectively prevents customers from completing a basic part of the shopping process during normal operating hours. I even mentioned that I only needed five minutes, but the response was cold and dismissive, with no attempt to accommodate or offer any alternative. If the store chooses to stop providing full service before closing time, that policy should be clearly communicated at the entrance. Allowing customers to spend time selecting items only to deny them the ability to try them on is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful of customers’ time. I walked in intending to purchase. I walked out feeling completely turned away. Very poor customer service.

Caitlyn Casavant I’m so happy to return home and see that GV has really turned the downtown area to a quaint and vibe-y place. It’s so much easier to walk around and enjoy the shops. If you love NC but don’t want to make the drive… or the climb! The. GV is where you want to be!

stevie wright I Absolutely love this place!!!! I have been visiting this awesome little shop since the early 90’s, and continue visit whenever we ride through town. I always talk with the owner when I stop by, he is of the nicest coolest shop owners that I have ever met, I could spend hours here just looking through their stock and talking with him ( terrible memory with names sorry). I have an electronic music / DJ studio that the walls and ceiling are covered with 100% Ben Figs tapestry’s that I have purchased over the years, plus a few other decorations. You really need to check this wonderful little shop out, it really is one of those hidden little gems. This picture doesn’t show all of them, the green and black Celtic tapestry on the left is one of the first that I bought from him on my first visit, think it was 1991.

T Perez Came in yesterday , was very stressed about my day , was looking for a few things to get , had the pleasure of meeting the employee by the name of Francis she was very helpful , very respectful was a very kind person ; I will be coming back here again , thank you to the wonderful employee for making shopping easier for me !
