Jett Z Great thrift store! Even though it was mostly women’s clothing, I was still able to find some cool men’s shirts that fit my style. The staff was super friendly and helpful as they let me know about some discounts going on, which was a nice surprise. Whether you’re looking to shop or just browsing around downtown, the Discovery Shop is definitely worth stopping by.

Misty Johnson Open Market OC I discovered Open Market OC this past November just in time for the holiday season. My absolute favorite thing about this store is that I am supporting local small businesses like crafters, jewelry makers, chandlers, and sooo much more. During my many visits to the store, I was always greeted and offered information about the products. The staff is just so friendly and knowledgeable about each vendor. It’s a great place for gifts. You have to check it out when you are at Pacific City.

Quite reasonably priced too! I particularly love the variety of prints and accessories here. The more I spend time here, the more of a goldmine it becomes.

Despite its size, the store is packed with merchandise, offering a variety of unique and culturally significant pieces. The prices are higher compared to other clothing stores, but the selection is unique and caters to those looking for traditional Afghan attire. Customer service is decent, though the staff seems to expect customers to make a purchase—if you browse without buying anything, they don’t seem too pleased. The store is not very busy, with typically one or two customers inside at a time. Street parking is limited which can be a challenge at times. Despite these minor drawbacks, I give them a 5 out of 5 to support their business and the effort they put into preserving and providing authentic Afghan fashion and accessories. If you’re looking for traditional Afghan clothing and jewelry, this is a great place to check out!
