Monterey General Store - Shop CA (Near Monterey)

K Mon This is one of my favorite stores!! Its the best place to get a gift for someone and a good laugh. Funniest socks, oven mits, and soooo many other things. I love that theyre open late - so if youre out for an evening walk, theyre open even after restaurants close!

WEST Coast This place is awesome!!! I went for my first time today and had a great experience! I consigned several things and picked up several new purchases! I love the variety the store has to offer- different styles, sizes, and variety! Susan, the owner, is exceptional! Very friendly and easy to work with! Likely my new favorite Women’s store! They carry new and gently used items! Traditional items and some funky style unusual things! Small sizes to plus sizes- there is something here for everyone! Tory Burch, Free People, Billabong, RVCA, etc. all at great prices! I can’t wait to return and find new treasures!

Vitolinans nauer Rude customer service, old man/ owner kicked us out for taking to long to find something to buy. Never would shop here. Every thing is messy and unorganized. We were basically followed through out the whole store like we were gonna steal. DO NOT RECOMMEND SHOPPING HERE. 0 star rating for me if I could. And everything is fake

Bryna Christensen I cant say enough about how much I love Belle Starr! I have several pieces of clothing from this wonderful shop, and each one is a treasure. The quality and style are top-notch, but what really stands out is the amazing customer service. Sue goes above and beyond in every interaction—she’s simply the best. It’s also incredibly refreshing to see how inclusive and supportive Belle Starr is of the local community. They’re always uplifting and encouraging other businesses in Old Town, making the whole area feel like a connected, welcoming place. I’m so happy to support this shop and the wonderful people behind it!
