1 /5 Becca Novak: I’ve been a Nordstrom credit card holder since 2017 and an Ambassador member, but after this interaction, I’ll no longer shop at Nordstrom Rack or use my Nordstrom card. There are too many other companies that actually value their customers.
Extremely disappointed with my experience at Nordstrom Rack. I bought pants over the summer, and when I finally went to wear them (cooler weather now), I realized the clasp was broken. I was only a few days past the return window and politely asked if they could take them back as defective for store credit.
The associate was immediately rude and unhelpful, and the manager was even worse, condescending, dismissive, and making it clear they “would never” help in a situation like this again. They did end up taking the pants back since they were defective, but the manager glared at me the entire time, and the way she handled it (harsh, rude, and disrespectful) made me feel completely unvalued as a customer and cardholder.
I understood the policy, but what I didn’t expect was such poor customer service and such rude treatment.
