However, if you enjoy getting high-quality gear for a steal, you will find yourself right at home among the masses. The store was packed to the rafters, yet the checkout line moved with a surprising level of efficiency that defied the laws of physics. It was a crowded, bustling environment that rewarded those with a bit of patience and a keen eye for a hidden gem. I walked out with a full bag and my dignity mostly intact, which is really all one can ask for when prices are dropped this low.

5 /5 Michael W.: I have shopped at the Patagonia Outlet in Santa Cruz at least once a year. They have many items on sale, some with deeper discounted prices. I usually come early in the morning, close to the opening time, to avoid the crowd. The store can be very busy after noon time. The cashier counter always has a line. But it is moving fast. The workers are super helpful and friendly. I wish their parking lot were bigger. A lot of parking spaces are for compact vehicles. It is very challenging for the driver if you have an oversized vehicle like I do!

5 /5 Bryce Moon: I absolutely love how friendly welcoming and knowledgeable all of the staff are when I come in, Matt especially took time to explain different aspects to me and was immensely helpful. The store can be a little confusing with the mixing of additional percentages off and full price and partial priced from full price items however the staff are always friendly to explain and tell you the sections. There are also clean and lovely dressing rooms!
