3 /5 General Infantry Joe: I live in Hollister and go to this gas station. I like the price on water jugs, I think its like 1.99. They keep a low stock of these jugs, so if you want the best deal in water there, well, there you go. And I like the ATM. Its an All point ATM, and my card doesnt get charged the fee because its tied in to ATMs and my banks network or something like that, all I know is, no fee for me. The gas varies, and thats a reason to knock a star off. Its sometimes higher than the two gas stations across the street from it. The pumps look old too and possibly messed with, like a hacker would have got their hands on it. I dont use my cards on the pump I go inside, and I only buy gas there, inside the store ,when its the same price as its neighbor gas stations, or lower. I like that their price for gas is cash or debit/credit is the same and not like the other two gas stations across the street that have separate prices for cash and credit/debit cards with the latter being more expensive, i.e you pay more for gas if you use a debit or credit card.
And another thing, they rarely upkeep the complimentary windshield clean up equipment next to the pumps. These two reasons plus no restrooms for customers and the lottery tickets/ scratchers are out of view when I go there because they are always using the register that doesnt have the display of scratchers on the counter. Oh and watch out for Lupe. Someone else commented on her and they have a mostly accurate protale of her demeanor, character, and personal attributes. She will not hesitate to speak her mind, her way, whether you like it or not. Sorry, I have been there with her but I was all drunk and called her names on a blackout drunk moment a while back, and she wouldnt let go of it, even banning me from going there. But I still go there because she forgave me one day and she remembers but we talked and we squashed the beef. But still, bad experience with her but no hard feelings. And again, all these reasons and experience is the reason why I give it 3 stars. Hope this helps you out somehow.
