V. Rose Derderian You will find truly unique clothing in a wide range of sizes here. It is not the typical merchandise you see at department stores. It’s a little edgier, more contemporary, European-style fashion, but I would say it’s geared for the 30+ clientele who are into good quality, good workmanship, fine fabrics and are over the t-shirt and distressed jeans look. The owner of the shop can look at you momentarily and immediately pull out a dozen looks that will fit and suit your body. She’s a style guru. And oddly, you don’t get the “pressure to buy” sense as much as the “wow, she really wants me to find something I love” sense. She says everyone who walks out of her store is a model for her so she wants to help them look their best. I’ve had luck here finding good quality basics, like a duster sweater, the best fitting trousers I ever owned, and an awesome and quirky wool coat that I love. You can also find some eccentric outfits to wear for dinners or shows. I haven’t seen much in terms of formal wear, but there are so many stores for those places. Think of this as a boutique you’d visit if you’ve got to be dressier than jeans but don’t have to wear a cocktail or formal dress. It’s definitely filling a niche in the neighborhood and is worth a visit.
