1 /5 Car Mar: I recently shopped at this Ross in Port Hueneme and had a very disappointing customer service experience. I went to return several items with my receipt, I had a jacket that no longer had the Ross tag. I explained that I had searched everywhere and couldn’t find the tag, but I clearly had proof of purchase. The tag must of fell off at the store during bagging.
The cashier, Laura, was rude and dismissive throughout the process. She made a big issue out of the missing tag, she made a big deal that it was a female not a male that helped me on my original purchase when she saw the video. She spoke to me in an unprofessional tone, and even lectured me as if I had done something wrong and that next time I should bring an item with the tag when I clearly explained that I searched for it, despite having the receipt and being honest about the situation. She also made unnecessary comments that were not helpful.
Mistakes happen, and I was simply trying to return an item that didn’t fit. Her lack of courtesy and sensitivity was very disappointing. Customer service at this location definitely needs improvement.
On the Ross policy it clearly says as long as you have proof of purchase and within 30 days of purchase. It does not say you must have the Ross tag.
