1 /5 Arun Arun: Today I went to the Ross store to exchange my shoes, which I had bought from Ross. I had also bought two pairs of jeans from there. When I went to the store to exchange the shoes, they said that the tag on these shoes was not from their store. I told them I bought these shoes from here yesterday. The shoes were fine, but it felt like they thought I was crazy.
I double-checked the UPC numbers on the tag and matched them with my receipt. Then I went back inside. She started talking in Spanish with her coworker. I didn’t understand Spanish. I was speaking in English, but she kept talking to her coworker in Spanish — I don’t know what she said — and then told me this was not their tag.
I went outside, checked the serial/UPC number again, and came back in. Then she said, okay these are ours, but the tag is not ours. I told her it is their tag — I bought it from their store. Then they said yes, that tag is ours.
I feel like they just didn’t want to exchange my shoes. I lost $19.99with tax, and on top of that I was treated badly. I was speaking in English, but she kept speaking Spanish with her coworker, and I couldn’t understand anything.
