McMullen San Francisco - San Francisco

Jazmyne Lyons I popped into McMullen Boutique feeling a little bit nervous, but all of my concerns were assuaged immediately. McMullen Boutique was such a lovely experience! Their offerings are so perfectly curated and unlike other designer pieces you may find in the city. The shop is absolutely stunning, and the hospitality is excellent and kind. I even had the pleasure of meeting Sherri while shopping in the boutique and she helped me to complete my purchase while answering any and all questions I had. I am looking forward to returning soon!

2nd STREET Santa Monica - Santa Monica

natalie Frances Buyer experience: When this place first opened a few years ago, I really liked it. It had fair prices, clean store, and you could count on the clothing, not being stained. Since then, it has sadly gone downhill. Prices have slowly gone up, even though I’ll see the same item sitting there sometimes for months at a time without a reduction in price. The racks are often over stuff to the point where it’s hard to browse and see what’s in there. Below I’ll post a photo of some of the theological pricing. These are two skims shirts they had for sale. One with stains priced at $29 one without stain price for $19. How does this make sense? Besides that you’ll see basic brands like Zara priced sometimes over $50. Their athletic wear selection is trash, they rarely have nice brands like Lulu or aloe and when they do, they are ridiculously overpriced. For example, I saw an aloe coat there for over $100. Something like that you would see at a competitor store more in the $40 range. Anyways, it’s nice to pop into if you’re in the area it’s worth checking out. You might stumble upon a good deal. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.

Ashley Gerhardt I love visiting Platos Closet Monterey because every trip feels like a treasure hunt. The selection of gently used clothing is always fresh and the prices are unbeatable, making it my go‑to thrift store. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I always leave with great finds that add personality to my wardrobe. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a good secondhand clothing store experience.
