Every piece tells a story, and the shop itself has an energy that makes you want to linger and explore. The location is stunning. They’ve done an incredible job restoring and enhancing the space, bringing out the historic character of what was once a saloon. The atmosphere is rich with history, yet fresh and inviting, a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern aesthetic. If I had one complaint, it’s that I didn’t want to leave. A place this magical deserves even more ways to engage with it. A cozy coffee corner or a regular philosophical discussion night would only add to the charm, making it a true gathering place for kindred spirits who appreciate art, history, and the stories behind every object. Highly recommend stopping by, you’ll leave inspired (and probably with a few treasures in hand).

Marylou Lunsford Downtown Placerville is an absolutely delightful place to visit! Its brimming with fascinating history, including the fact that they used to hang people right in the town center. Yikes! But fear not, because it still maintains a cozy hometown feel, and the historical buildings add to its old world charm. Who knows, you might even encounter a friendly ghost or two! LOL. And let me tell you, during the Christmas season, it transforms into a truly magical sight. With a wide variety of restaurants, hotels, and unique stores off the beaten path, theres never a dull moment. Plus, during apple season, its an absolute must-stop on your way to apple hill. Trust me, you wont want to miss out on all the fun and excitement!

Jasmine Rosa I absolutely LOVE this store!!! They have the cutest vintage finds and their prices are super reasonable! And not to mention the music that plays in the store. My absolute favorite 70s & 80s hits! Im so sad that I live in Riverside and Im not able to visit it daily. But Im definitely going to be in there every time Im out in Huntington! Grant Marr Had a great experience selling, with Emma as the buyer! I was nervous after seeing the negative reviews. I brought in 5 large bags of clothes (probably >100 items) and they bought 14 items, and offered $168 in trade-in, or $101 in cash. They bought a few of the old navy / gap pieces that were nicer and seasonal, but passed on most of them. They are very picky about t-shirts which I expected, especially in the winter. Some nice leggings were new with a $90 price tag on it, and they are reselling it for $34 and offering me $15. For me, that’s great! Just know what to expect, folks. They thoroughly looked through everything. Emma had already tagged the clothes before I accepted, but I didn’t get the feeling that it would have been a problem to decline some of the offers. She showed me the prices offered on the screen for each piece. And I got to walk around the Ave while she looked. 5 stars!

Jessica Beauchamp A must visit, one-of-a-kind shop! Owl and Kitty cat is so beautifully curated, it feels like walking into a gallery of hand-picked treasures. From vintage clothing to artisan gifts, each find is truly unique. The shops owner, Alex, is absolutely lovely and welcoming. Each thoughtful touch, like gorgeous ribbons and handmade business cards, reflect her intention and care. Check it out, highly recommend!
