The Yubaverse - (Near Downieville, CA)

5 /5 Devious Doers: This place was pure bliss! I stayed for four nights and the hostess welcomed me with open arms. Rooms were pristine and the view was incredible. Looking forward to my next visit!

5 /5 Tammy Byrd: What an amazing little getaway! Very clean, bathrooms were updated and darling! We stayed in Cabin C the weekend of the Downieville Brewfest. Easy walk to town (kind of dangerous though) Fishing was amazing and there is so much to enjoy and explore on the Yubaverse grounds. Thank you for a great weekend. We will be back.

5 /5 Mireya Quirie: What a fabulous place! Whether staying in a comfortable cabin or camping in a river hut, the sound of the beautiful North Yuba River is ever-present and relaxing. In any season there is something to enjoy (besides the world-class biking, of course!). In the pouring rain, Ive snuggled up in front of the cozy fireplace to knit or read. In the heat of summer, Ive jumped into one of several swim holes and emerged renewed. Spring explodes with wildflowers, and the hike to town is beautiful as it crosses over several creeks and past blooming dogwood trees. Best are the hammocks, perfect for a lazy nap on the lawn.

5 /5 DiAnne Cooper: A really great place to get away from it all! We stayed in cabin 7. It could not have been more comfortable or enjoyable. Quality furnishings, thoughtfully selected. The hiking was perfect for us as active seniors. The Yuba River was delightful in every way. We were able to get in enough to cool off, we wished we had a fishing lic and gear. Downieville was so fun to explore, very interesting and historic. We hope to go back!

5 /5 Jesse Lumb: This place is magic. It’s one of our favorite places on Earth. We got married here and spent our anniversary here a year later. We married in May and somehow it snowed(!) and still The Yubaverse team made it all feel perfect. This pocket of glory is an absolute treasure. I never feel more relaxed than when I stay here by the river and walk these grounds. Thank you Matt and Mireya. Your stewardship is deeply inspiring.
