1 /5 Justin L: Frustrating Checkout Experience – Needs Improvement
I’m a regular shopper at TJ Maxx, but the checkout experience has become so frustrating that I’m seriously reconsidering returning. Despite all the lights being on, there are rarely enough cashiers to handle the crowds. On my recent visit, there were only three registers open while the line was stretched all the way to the back of the store. Meanwhile, employees were just folding clothes or wandering around, totally ignoring the long wait.
It’s honestly infuriating to see such poor management during busy times. I’ve walked out without buying anything more than once because the checkout process is so painfully slow.
TJ Maxx really needs to get with the times and install self-checkout stations like Ross has. Until then, I’m seriously considering taking my business elsewhere.
