Not only a nice selection (1000s) of used books, typical mass markets, as well as quite a few trade paper backs snd hardcovers, most of the used books are $3 or less. The other half of the store is a combination, new bookstore, and a hippie closing and trinket store that features, Florida authors and other interesting new books, as well as tie-dyed sundresses and beautiful, bandannas and great smelling, handmade, soaps, and lots of other fun things certainly worth a browse.
They build themselves as the “cultural and literary center of Perry” and I think that’s a pretty fair assessment. If you’re looking for something fun to do and you’ve been to all the Tallahassee bookstore so many times, you know everything they’ve got this could be a fun little adventure and while you’re at it, you might run up to Graves drive-in and get one of their famous hamburgers before you head back into town, and if you aren’t fortunate enough to live in Tallahassee, this is a real bright spot for those of us who live out in the surrounding counties.
