1 /5 This is Us Jose & Diana: Today I went to Burlington and tried to purchased an item with a red clearance tag. The item was clearly labeled at a certain price, but when I went to check out, they refused to honor the labeled price and tried to charge me $5 more.
The manager, Mike, was extremely rude and disrespectful. While I was trying to speak with him, he walked away mid-conversation, left me talking to myself, and opened another register to assist other customers. This behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
A manager in a customer-facing role should demonstrate respect and courtesy, but instead, he displayed the opposite. If he treats customers this way, it raises serious concerns about how he may treat employees as well.
