1 /5 Jasmine: Do not shop here. I ordered from online, not knowing what the store was. The items didnt work out and I went to take them back only to be told that I couldnt use my emailed receipt & had to call corporate for a receipt. I do, return on a different day with the emailed receipt & the items and THEN, on my 3rd visit to the store, they tell me I need to have the original card that I paid with online to get my money back on my card. Let me also mention that each visit took FOREVER because the process behind the counter was so slow, the quality of the clothes was terrible (it felt like a grocery bag), the shipping took forever, and they were playing explicit music in the store during my visit. If I could, I would give this store 0 stars.

I am writing to express my concerns regarding a recent experience at your Governor’s Square Mall Rainbow location in Tallahassee, Florida. As a loyal customer since my middle school days in South Florida back in 2003, I have always appreciated the variety and affordability that Rainbow offers. Now residing in Tallahassee, I frequently visit the Governor’s Square Mall Rainbow store. However, during my recent visit on April 9 2025 . I encountered an issue that I believe warrants your attention. I attempted to return some sports bras that I had purchased. I was aware of the seven-day return policy and understood that I would not be eligible for a cash refund. However, I anticipated receiving store credit for the items. After waiting in line, I was informed by the management that returns of intimate apparel, including sports bras, are not accepted, even for store credit. This was particularly frustrating given that your fitting rooms are currently inaccessible to customers, as indicated by prominent signage stating that trying on items is prohibited due to corporate policy. This policy essentially compels customers to purchase items without the opportunity to try them on, leading to potential dissatisfaction and financial loss if the items do not fit or meet expectations. When I requested to speak with management, an employee named Aaliyah identified herself as the store manager and stated that she was adhering to corporate directives regarding fitting room closures and the no returns/exchanges policy on intimate apparel. I feel that this situation was handled without the compassion and understanding that I have come to expect from Rainbow. The inability to try on items combined with a strict no-return policy on certain products places customers in a difficult position. Ultimately, I left the items and the receipt at the store, resulting in a total loss without receiving any refund or store credit. Additionally, I observed that the staff gathered around the manager during our interaction, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere, as if it were a display of authority rather than an effort to resolve the issue. This experience has left me feeling undervalued as a long-time customer. I believe that policies should be implemented with consideration for customer satisfaction and that staff should be trained to handle such situations with empathy and professionalism. I kindly request that you review this incident and consider revisiting the policies and training procedures that led to this outcome. I would appreciate any steps you can take to address this matter and restore my confidence in shopping at Rainbow. Thank you for taking the time to address my concerns. 1 /5 zia williams: I want to start off this review by stating that I have not been to the store since I wanna say before Covid happen. So when I noticed that dress rooms were not accessible, no side stating why. Only the fact that we can return or exchange items within seven days. So I decided to buy the clothes try them on at another store. And as I looked at some reviews for this location. They stated that as advice to their customers because their dressing room is not available. And the fact is that if someone take your clothes out the store, are you going to allow them to bring them back to purchase or are they just going to just take them and you guys don’t care. It all sounds far-fetched. So when I go up there to ring up the clothes, no one tells me that they return and exchange machine is down. So I decide to buy them go try them on the Dillard’s come back to see if I can return them since I did not like them all together with the shoes and etc. I come back into the store a woman with a short haircut African-American woman to be exact. She Acknowledge where I was therefore before I even could utter a word. She states that the machine is down for their return and exchanges and that I can return back on Monday. And not sure if I was able to say anything else without someone else saying like oh when did you buy it? I would’ve been like I said I just bought it today i.e. Saturday. She was like well you have seven days. And then the girl with the voice the sweet so-called voice she was like sorry thank you for understanding. I did not say anything to her. All I did was just look the other way and turn around cause I’m like I literally just wasted my time in the store and wasted $60 with some shit that I don’t like. So I called today which is Sunday the day after because I just wanted to see if I could catch somebody in a lie. And I believe that I did. By me stating that hi, I am calling to ensure that your return exchange machine will be working on Monday… The girl on the phone was confused and she was like what are you asking? I said I’m asking if you’re a return or exchange machine will be working on Monday so I don’t waste my time coming by. She says and I quote our machines is always working… So I go insane so you tell him that your machine was working on this this past Saturday… She says oh no someone just told me that our machine wasn’t working on Saturday but it’ll be working. It’s been working since Saturday so it’ll be working when you come in on Monday. Do you have any other questions… I end the call very much upset, saying how that’s hard to believe but thank you for answering my question. Bye and I hung up all it sounds like is that they literally don’t want you to return things the same day or over the weekend because maybe somebody isn’t there over the weekend that can do the return exchanges and they don’t wanna be held responsible for doing it so they want you to wait until the weekday to do it instead of a weekend day which sounds like laziness and more and just straight up liars and no communication with server with their clients so it’s like what’s the point of you going to the store and they’re just gonna just lie lie lie lie lie, and just take your money.

1 /5 Crystal Porcella: Well, I can see its not just me. I wonder how many people buy clothes and then wear them to work with the tags still on. Probably not many of you, right? So, I bought a dress literally a couple days ago and wore it to work ONCE and the buttons wouldnt stay buttoned which was to say a little embarrassing. So, I go back to return it thinking it wont be a big deal since I just bought it and it was defective. Wrong cause I didnt wear the tag to work. They wouldnt even let me exchange it for the SAME EXACT DRESS, hoping it was just a fluke. And I see from the earlier reviews an apology but if you cant get with the program all the apologies in the world wont stop you from going out of business because no one is going to keep buying clothes they cant wear. I understand your clothes are cheap. I didnt want the dress to last forever. I just wanted the buttons to do what they are supposed to do and gey through at least the first wearing. Not alot to ask for in my opinion.

1 /5 Raquel Bauknight: School shopping for my 2 children from out of town and decided to visit the mall here in Tallahassee. What is the point of having a fitting room but it is closed down? There was no sign that said it was closed down either. The girl behind the counter was on store the phone and just didn’t want to assist us but instead told us to locate another store in my town to return an item if it didn’t fit. Unfortunately I don’t have a rainbow in my area and probably will not return to another rainbow again
