The staff is not only friendly, but incredibly knowledgeable—they know their products and are happy to offer suggestions or help you find the perfect item. Whether you’re just browsing or shopping with purpose, their passion and professionalism shine through. The collections are thoughtfully curated, the vibe is upbeat, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for such unique designs and quality of cut. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, don’t miss this gem among gems. The snappy Turtle is a refreshing reminder of what small-town shopping should feel like!

Penny, the store’s assistant manager, helped me find all kinds of outfit options to try on and provided great insights into the different brands offered. This has been the best experience I’ve had shopping in downtown Stuart so far, and I’ve lived in Stuart for years and shopped downtown frequently. The store has high-quality items while still maintaining a warm and welcoming (read: non-snobbish) atmosphere. I was very happy shopping here and felt like a priority while in the store, which is a customer service experience that’s increasingly elusive these days. I will be back!

4 /5 Ariel W.: This is a cute womens boutique located in downtown on historic Osceola Street. It fits in perfectly with the charming shops, restaurants, and galleries. Snappy Turtle started out as Caroles Canvas Company. Caroles two loves were canvas bags and the colors pink and green. From this, the inspiration sprang for the first Snappy Turtle in Kennebunkport, Maine in 1982. Their motto is "preppy with a twist". If you like bright tropical prints, think Lilly Pulitzer, you will probably like this store of resort style clothing for women and children. The Snappy Turtle also carries accessories like jewelry and tote bags and home goods including quilts and pillows. It is the kind of bright and breezy clothing that appeals to tourists on vacation. I found the prices to be on the expensive side but if you are looking to splurge they have some lively things. They also have a store that they opened in 1987 in Delray Beach. Having been around for 30 years they seem to know what Florida likes.

1 /5 Scar Beoulve: So Im on vacation, I see this nice shop and have already spent over 150 bucks in this place. I come back the next day and I got my brother with me. I pick up a back massager that I wasnt going to put back down because I was going to buy it. The old black women on the other told me to put it down and not "play" with the items like Im a child. I run my own business and would NEVER speak to my customers the way she did. She needs to be removed from the store and fired immediately. As I will not return and will continue to tell every single person I see not to shop at this store. The other employees are amazing but the old one needs to be laid off. Look at the counter, to the right is a back massager. They dont even know what they sell. Wow this store needs to be shut down.
