Surf Style - (Near Fort Lauderdale, FL)

1 /5 ashley stenger: I went in yesterday and purchased a really cute tank top that I wore today. However, I went back in today because I really wanted to either get a sweater or get the buy 3, get one free. I looked around the store for a zip up hoodie and couldnt find anything I liked so I was deciding between one really nice sweater or the buy 3 get 1... when all of a sudden I heard the male employee at the register make a snide comment "if they unfold one more sweater".. and not a minute later he came right to where I was looking at one in the front display and rudely and abruptly said "excuse me" and proceed to grab the sweater I was just holding, folded it back up and went to take a picture of the display... I was very taken aback at how rude he moved me aside from what I was looking at... there are many other shops on the strip and everyone I mean everyone at the other stores are polite and helpful .. yet suf style has the cutest clothing and the rudest staff... I recognized the woman who cashed me out yesterday and told me about the bogo deal so I went over her very calmly and politely stated I was just looking at a sweater and trying to see what it said when the employee pushed me aside.. he then came over and said "what did I do" again very rudely and I calmly said "you know what you did" and he backed away about ten feet or so and loudly stated that I could leave. "I said I was getting ready to buy something" and he said "no you werent, im the manager you can go" I dont understand what I did to offend this man. I truly loved the clothing. So many that I couldnt decide what to get.. ive never been spoken to like this. I never spoke a word until that man pushed me aside.. I unfold shirts and always try to neatly put them back. I truly was calm when I went to talk to the other staff member. They lost business as I wouldve spent at least $60. Went to another store and bought something there. He should not be a manager!!

1 /5 B: The entire store feels like a scam. They remove tags and markings from other companies/brands and replace them with Surf Style, making you think its their own - then charge more. Staff cant be bothered to offer assistance to anyone. The fitting rooms are blocked by boxes. Ill never shop here again. There are plenty of other legitimate stores along the strip offering honest products and better, friendlier service.

2 /5 Jen Gapinski: Check your bags before leaving! I had 4 tshirts at checkout and only 3 were in my bag. I dont live in Ft. Lauderdale so unfortunately Im not getting my shirt! Also, they advertise "buy 3 get 1 free" but the "free" item isnt any t-shirt - its very specific tshirts, which werent ones that were very cute. Disappointed!

5 /5 Patrick Crowley: The best beach department store! Anything you can think of for the beach they have it here. Flip-flops to boogie boards to towels to hoodies,gifts,trinkets you name it they have it here! beautiful air-conditioned one of the nicest beach department stores ever.

4 /5 Roberto Rosas: “SURF STYLE, SURF STYLE” I now have the jingle memorized. This is a great location and a solidly good store. Most employees are great and you can tell the managers here want to keep a tidy store. Plenty of options from mens clothes , womens bathing suits to Fort Lauderdale niknacks and childrens toys. The downside is the t shirts have nice graphics - but the graphics are on the back and not the front? Very counterintuitive in my opinion. Also, there seems to be just clutter of left over clothing in the store. Do they not have a storage in back to place this? Literally carts full of merchandise in the aisles….
