Talbots Outlet - (Near Ocala, FL)

1 /5 C F: I have shopped here for the last three years. Barbara is usually Talbots employee in store (and she is excellent at her job), but today encountered a very rude and abrupt lady who represented herself as manager. She has shoulder length dark hair with some gray strands. She needs a refresher course on how to deal with customers. This month along I’ve spent over $500 in this store. We stop in every time we’re in Ocala which is 2 to 4 times a month at least.

1 /5 david speicher: If you are handicap, this is not your store. I shop with my wife here all the time and spend thousands of dollars. But as of today not anymore. Unfortunately, I have a muscle issue where I cannot get out of their chairs or stand for long periods. I usually try to lean against the pillars in the store, but sometimes my back hurts so badly that I just kind of rest one cheek on The table as this relieves my pain. I have never had anyone at any store ever say anything about this and believe me we shop a lot. Today the very rude condescending manager in the store with black hair and glasses told me I could not sit there, and I would have to sit in the chairs upfront. Or basically stand. As I am not accustomed to be Treated so poorly in what I thought was a higher end store, but I guess it’s not. It is just another Walmart with a higher price. I told my wife that I would sit and our SUV, even though it was 96°. My wife who is always very loving and accommodating with my muscular dystrophy said let’s go. We left so it is very obvious to me that Talbots discriminates against those that are not in perfect health or that may have some handicap. I will be shopping elsewhere with my wife. The name of the manager is Xenia I am not sure if that is the correct spelling, but she needs to be replaced. Thank you.

5 /5 Audrey Jones: I had been looking for 2 different color tops for a few weeks and while on vacation I went into Destin location and they didnt have them. They gave me the number of the Heath Brook location and Peach answered when I called she originally said they didnt have any but she called me back about 15 minutes later and she had stumbled upon them. I was shocked she took the time to do that . Peach was awesome and I am so grateful for her going above and beyond to help me. She is a great asset to Talbots amazing team!

1 /5 Cherryl Sullivan: I love this store but today after getting their 2 day sale ad on my phone I decided to get up out of my bed where I had been for two day with my back being out and suffer through walking to shop their store to save money on the clothes o I love. I got here and the store is closed . No mention that they are closed on the door . While I sat there several people have come up and tried the same thing I did. I’ve called the store and no one picks up. What’s going on? I’m pretty upset in light of the fact that I am in pain but to be closed and no indication why on the door is not good customer service!! Guess I’ll stop shopping here!

5 /5 John Hurst: The nice lady came out of the store with s dress, two tops, shorts, and something else all considerably less than a similar dress at a department store. Had enough left for semi dress shoes to go with dress, and still $$ left. This ol boy can handle that. Great Talbots quality merchandize!
