5 /5 susan landergan: I just had a great experience with Anita and The Islander. I was vacationing in Anna Maria and saw a Charlie B cardigan that I loved. I tried it on but it was too big. So I searched online and found one in my size at The Islander. I ordered it and was pleased I had snagged the last one in stock. After a couple of days I noticed that my package was processed by the shop but showing that the USPS was waiting on the sender. I contacted The Islander by email and got an immediate response. They were puzzled but would check on it. The next day I got a phone call. They had dropped the package off for mailing but the regular carrier had been off and the sub had not picked up my package.I was reassured that it would be picked up that day and on its way to me. I got a couple more emails from Anita that all was well and she was sorry for the delay(not their fault in any way). I was so happy that my sweater was not lost forever in the confusion of the Christmas rush. It is so refreshing to have an experience like this. So often ,people just don’t care. I wholeheartedly recommend The Islander to those of you who long for professional and friendly interaction from shops and staff you love.

5 /5 Jan Bergman: This shop is wonderful! Full of beautiful and unique gift and home decor items. I cannot say enough about their clothing and jewelry lines! But the best thing about this shop is the staff! They will choose things for you to try on that you might have overlooked, and they will honestly tell you if it’s “not you” and find something that is! I love everything I’ve ever purchased at the Islander! Oh…and then there’s Gracie!❤️
