My now husband and I waited until the last minute to throw together our elopement before the arrival of our first baby at the end of May. I came into flourish when I happened to be in thomasville for work to check to see if they happened to have any options better than the blue dress I had gotten from another shop in Tallahassee that I wasn’t in love with, but resigned to wearing. I was convinced I would never find something I really loved or felt comfortable in at 8.5 months pregnant. I walked in on a whim 5 days before my wedding, thinking my only option would be brides maid’s dresses, and to my astonishment they were able to fit me with the most perfect wedding dress and within my price range that I could have possibly imagined! I didn’t think it would be possible to find something I would feel comfortable and beautiful in with my pregnancy weight gain. Instead of an elopement I ended up with a real wedding thanks to Flourish! Thanks so much for helping me! You guys really helped make our day special.

Her shop is neat and welcoming. Her prices are reasonable and her work is fabulous. Highly recommend her. Loved the cut as well!

She was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond at check-in, making sure we had the perfect room for our anniversary. That level of thoughtfulness turned a spontaneous stop into something truly special. Later that evening, Carleigh made our anniversary dinner just as memorable. Her service was attentive, professional, and perfectly timed, making the entire dining experience feel top notch. It’s rare to find a place where people genuinely care about creating memorable moments, but Oaks on the River delivers on every level. Between the beautiful property and the exceptional service, this hotel sets a very high bar for boutique hospitality. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special stay even if it’s a last-minute decision.
