Clippers in downtown Cleveland is easily one of the cleanest and best-run convenience stores in North Georgia. The employees are consistently friendly, helpful, and personable, no matter what time you stop in — and being open 24/7 makes it one of the most reliable stores in the area. The store is well-organized, the bathrooms are clean, and the whole place feels safe and well-lit, which is great for late-night or early-morning travel. They also carry a solid selection of snacks, drinks, and essentials, and the service is way better than most gas stations. If youre driving through the Cleveland / Helen / North Georgia mountains or just need a quick and friendly place to fuel up, this is one of the top convenience stops in the area. Highly recommended.

The owner recently wrote a book herself (her and I both graduated from the same small Christian high school, one year apart actually, small world for ya!), which I borrowed from my local library in Tallahassee. But after loving it so much (and wanting to highlight and underline and notate) I knew I needed my own copy. So we made the short drive across the state line for a visit on sidewalk sale day, and loved our time in the store and in downtown! Plus, I now have an autographed copy!
