J C Such a delight to meet Megan. She doesn’t know a stranger. She’s so welcoming in her shop. RR has so much to see. Highly recommend visiting this shop. Also, she will let you use her restroom. No other antique store allows public access. The shop and Megan are both a gem!

Halie Pullen The cutest local bookshop, with friendly, helpful staffers. The owner recently wrote a book herself (her and I both graduated from the same small Christian high school, one year apart actually, small world for ya!), which I borrowed from my local library in Tallahassee. But after loving it so much (and wanting to highlight and underline and notate) I knew I needed my own copy. So we made the short drive across the state line for a visit on sidewalk sale day, and loved our time in the store and in downtown! Plus, I now have an autographed copy!

Majestic Butterfly The clothes are of good quality, prices are reasonable and staff is very willing to help. Its an awesome place to shop

JJ Phurst I am SUPERRR thrilled about this laundromat. I typically use the Sweats location in Alma, but we have moved to Blackshear. I decided to give it a go, and its great! Its clean, the people are friendly, and everything works! (For me it turned out to be cheaper than Almas location as well.) The upgraded washers and dryers are fabulous. They even have a super huge - jumbo - dryer. I will absolutely be back, and I highly recommend it if youre looking to launder your clothing locally.
