1 /5 Mesha Mesiya: Unwelcoming to people of color. My husband came into the store with me and he mentioned the women behind the counter kept staring at him and made him feel uncomfortable for just being there. They did not greet us as we walked in and watched them greet every other person not of color. Plus, most of their clothes are actually tacky, think 2007 florida grandma vibes.

5 /5 Aimee Hunkele: I was in Atlanta with girlfriends for a quick trip and touring some of the sites. It was during the Atlanta Braves parade. I stopped by this shop, and purchased a pair of earrings that I saw in the window passing by. My girlfriends purchased many items from this store as well. While returning to Columbus, I lost the earrings I purchased going through TSA maybe (thats the last time I had them in my possession). My Husband, saw how bummed I was. For Christmas, with the help of one of my friends who was with me, called the store, explained the earrings, (my girlfriend drew them on paper for him). He spoke with "Jen". After some back and forth with pictures, this store (Jen) narrowed down the earrings, and sent them to my Husband overnight/second day (not sure which). They were under the tree on Christmas Eve. My heart melted. WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND. Thank you thank you to this shop for ALL OF YOUR HELP. If I lived closer, I would be your best customer. Great Customer Service.

2 /5 aimee lampkins: Im not sure if it’s because I’m younger but the woman working there pretty quickly pointed me to the sale rack and when asking about jewelry even know they couldn’t answer a simple question properly about the quality of jewelry they were speaking very condescending to me. Maybe be nicer or at-least be more educated about the product you’re selling if you’re going to be stuck up. The clothing there looks nice though and they jewelry was very cute.

5 /5 Jordan: I came to Dakota Js a few weeks back. I was with a couple friends who’d been there before, but it was a new for me. I haven’t done much boutique shopping in the past, but I think Dakota Js may have converted me! I didn’t try on anything, but I remember the jewelry quite well. The variety was good, ranging from less expensive pieces, to big beautiful necklaces. I honestly couldn’t choose what I wanted because there was so much. There were these gorgeous green and black earrings that I just had to have. Overall, I liked the general vibe of the boutique. It was fun, kind of charming, and certainly not as intimidating as other higher-end shops.

1 /5 Betty G: I bought a draped tee that was on sale but when I got to my vehicle, I realized the shirt had a noticeable hole. The young associate in the store was surprised at the sight of the hole but “Jen” (other associate/?manager/?owner) commented “that is why it was on sale.” I questioned if the other size on rack was also damaged but her response was that she had no idea. So I walked over and inspected the other size for any possible damage and brought it to register without any staff assistance. As a patron, I should have been made aware that my purchase was a damaged product so I could decide if I wanted to buy it that way. Thankfully, I was able to make the exchange. Of note, that was the only sale item I purchased, my other items were full price. Good customer service should be priority.
