Heidi’s Gotta Tell Ya My sister and I visited this shoe store while on vacation in Georgia because we both wanted to try Hoka shoes. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and assisted in finding the best Hoka styles to fit our needs. The sales associate who helped us was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable about the different shoe options. After trying on several pairs, I chose the Hoka Bondi for their exceptional comfort, especially for wide feet. My sister went with the Hoka Gaviota, which offers more support but felt too structured for my preference. Overall, this store gets high marks for its friendly service and a great shopping experience!

Thomas Hagan While we were staying in Helen, we took the beautiful mountain drive up to Hiawassee, and what a gem we found in Creekside General Store! We originally stopped in just on a whim, but the experience turned out to be fantastic. The ladies working there were just the nicest people you could hope to meet—they truly made us feel right at home, like we were family browsing their wonderful collection. We ended up picking up several great souvenirs, but the real highlight was finding a beautiful, handcrafted knife by the local knifemaker, Blane Berryman. If you’re ever in the area, or even if you have to take the scenic route like we did, Creekside General Store is well worth the stop for unique items and that wonderful, welcoming North Georgia hospitality.

Ken Wow! The places just seems to go on and on. There must be 200 booths here. The items on sale all seemed of good quality and value, no yard sale junk here. Important for this area of the state, it’s all air conditioned and you can wander around for hours and not be fighting the heat, or the gnats. I think anyone could find things of interest here.
