I recently purchased a pair of sneakers, originally priced at $400 and $300, along with a few other items. Unfortunately, less than three months of occasional use later, the sneakers began showing significant signs of deterioration, with noticeable damage on the side.
I reached out directly to the store owner, Lacy, hoping for a resolution. However, her response was to suggest I take the shoes to a repair shop, offering to cover the cost of repairs. While I appreciate the gesture, this completely misses the point at these price points, I believe the expectation is for the shoes to hold up much longer than a few months of light wear.
For a boutique that positions itself as offering luxury products, I had hoped for a more thoughtful approach to customer service, especially when dealing with a product that clearly didn’t meet the standards one would expect for such an investment. Its disappointing that this experience has left me questioning the value and durability of the items sold here.
