5 /5 Blake Lowe: Saw this on social media a while ago and went in during a business trip. I was not disappointed with the selection - looks like this place hasn’t bought anything new since the 90s. I talked with the employees behind the counter and they told me the owners own basically the whole block and they serve regulars from downtown. Their stock is close to dried up, though. At least in the men’s department what’s on the floor is what they have. But oh what a floor it is. They have knit and mercerized polos, Sergio Tacchini and Pierre Cardin tennis sets, old Fila gear, and American made shirts and shorts for days. Their outerwear is amazing too. New with tags varsity jackets from the 98 Olympics! Windbreakers from the LA Olympics! Crazy suede and shearling jackets! And of course more slacks, coats, Stacy Adams and Kangol than you can shake a stick at. If it was fly when Boyz II Men were on the radio, they got it. Prices are still retail level (the varsity jackets were $300) and they don’t have a lot of small/medium sized product left, but still well worth a visit if you love some vintage clothing. They also have a seamstress that does alterations!
