The Black Dog General Store - Savannah - Shop GA (Near Savannah)

5 /5 Kristie Harmon: Both myself and my black dog Bella had a wonderful experience at your store. The young lady working there was so sweet. Unfortunately they do not have women’s plus size..but the lady working was so sweet to tell me which mens sizes would convert to my size. I left with a few items!! And my dog enjoyed being in the store and being fussed over. Can’t wait to go back at our next visit to Savannah! Oh and to people saying it’s pricy…they obviously did not buy anything because I’m not sure how I will take this off. It’s soooooo soft and comfortable worth every penny!

5 /5 grace elizabeth: This place is so cute! Their outdoor gear is amazing as well as their sweatshirts and every day wear. There plushies were so cute, and my Black Lab loves their toys and this place is so fitting if you are a Black Lab owner!

5 /5 Jacob Lane: Such an awesome little shop! They have a good selection of clothing and hats as well as some other things. All mainly with a cute black dog with white feet and the lady, I forget her name unfortunately, was very very friendly and informative! She told us they originally started in Marthas vineyard as a restaurant in the 70s and the black dog was the owners first rescue dog! but by the 90s they were selling so much clothing they switched to focus on that and now they have the one in Marthas vineyard and I believe 4 down the east coast. They donate a portion of certain things to rescues and basically the whole focal point is rescue dogs! And we just rescued a little Staffordshire terrier mix of some sort that almost matches their "black dog" perfectly! I could be wrong on some of that, my memory isnt great but I wanted to take the time to leave them and the lady working a great review! It was saturday January 5th right at 8:55 pm when we were there so if her bosses see this, now youll know which lady it was and she deserves a pat on the back for being so genuine.

5 /5 Liesey: If your in Savvanh and need to find something thats not a souvenir, they have it 10/10. They allow pets, prices are good, good vibes, friendly employees. If you ever visit I HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking the store out! I hope this helped❤️

Mary Francis was so friendly and helpful, not only with our shopping but our stay too! We received great recommendations and loved hearing the history of the company.
