5 /5 Susan Graham: The best local yarn store I have ever visited -- and Ive seen a few in several states in the U.S. They are very helpful with everything yarn-related. They are very engaged with the local community in wonderful ways. For example, they work on blankets for local shelters, and partner with a local coffee roasting company for it. They have a wonderful space for knitters and crocheters and spinners and yarn dyers and weavers. And there are weekly casual Open Craft Times that are welcoming to beginners and advanced alike. Their classes are varied and thorough. And they are the nicest group of people I have ever met! They are a true asset to the community!

I popped in for my first project ever to ask a bunch of questions and request guidance and the patrons that were working on projects and the staff were so damn nice and helpful, I got all of my questions answered even though staff knitted instead of crochet and I will absolutely be coming back. Prices were also amazing!

It’s convenient to get to, with a wonderful selection of yarns, fibers, and tools, and opportunities to support local producers. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I appreciate the emphasis on community with times to just sit and work on a project while getting to know other crafters. Also, the variety of lessons offered provides opportunities to learn a new skill.

5 /5 Joanne Maki: Support local yarn stores! Great new store in Winder. Revival in Athens is now closed so hop in your car and go meet Sondra in Winder. More than a knitting location. She is starting a spinning circle night plus other events. The store is just getting started but has great potential. Get your crochet and knitting patterns ready to go and buy some local yarn!!

5 /5 Nancy Peterman: This is the most amazing yarn shop. The yarn is plentiful (both in selection and abundance) beautiful and squishy. But, what makes this place special is the people. It all starts with Sondra and flows throughout the shop. Wednesdays are a day of yarn fun, fellowship, friendships and old fashion visiting. Sondra can answer any of your knitting questions and is happy to help you decide on yarn colors, weights, pattern selections, you name it! Her teachers heart is apparent in her attentiveness and patience. I thoroughly enjoy every visit!
