5 /5 ANGELA DAVIS: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience at Uptown Cheapskate. The customer service was excellent, the staff was friendly and professional, and the store was spotless with a great atmosphere. This is definitely not your average thrift store — everything was well organized, stylish, and reasonably priced. I sold some of my items and was very happy with the process and payout. Highly recommend!

4 /5 Wonder Womom: Initially, I was prepared to leave a two star review because of the poor service I had in this store today, but after reading the owner’s responses to many of the previous reviews, I am beyond impressed with this location and bumped my review up with plans to give them another try. The merchandise here is great, well organized and a lot of the prices are fair, but my first experience in this store was pretty poor due to the customer service. The store employees overall did not have welcoming demeanors or pleasant personalities and it made the store seem very dull and boring. It was as if we- the customers- were intruding in their space uninvited. I appreciate the owner sharing in their review responses the perspective that this is the first job for a lot of the staff, so it helps me to give them a little more grace- they’re kids! I plan to visit again with a different perspective. Hopefully my next visit will be a better experience and they have learned a bit more of how to connect with others in a customer friendly way.

Her knowledge of the stores inventory, particularly regarding specific brands, was impressive. She was able to guide me to exactly what I was looking for, and her recommendations were spot-on. Its clear that Ansley is passionate about her work and genuinely cares about helping customers find the perfect items. I was also impressed with the stores quality and quantity of name brands, especially LuLu Lemon. I highly recommend visiting Uptown Cheapskate and working with Ansley. Her exceptional customer service and expertise truly enhance the shopping experience. Thank you, Ansley, for making my visit so enjoyable!

5 /5 Breanna Ragsdale: I went to this store yesterday, and I absolutely have no complaints. Perfect prices, perfect trend up keeps. And let me not forget Ana is the most welcome employee there. She always welcomes me with a big smile on her face and helps me find what I’m looking for with no doubt. Absolutely 10/10 recommend.
