Carmi Motel - (Near Carmi, IL)

1 /5 ThatBeEpic: Charged me $99 a night. Only motel in this town but you be better off sleeping in your car or travel to a different motel. Old box tv, mold in bathroom, Paint peeling, bed bugs, roaches, no microwave, no heat and smells like dog piss and so much more. I ordered food and had it delivered and owner called my room saying no traffic or I would be kicked out. I told him I had food delivered no one even came in. I made the mistake of paying for a few days in advance because I didn’t realize there is actually motels in this condition that are open and in business. Looks like it should have been condemned years ago. After seeing bed bugs I checked out the same night and Since grayville wasn’t far I went there. He refused to give me back the money for the days I didn’t even use which was shady and unprofessional. I Stayed in to many places to count through out the states but I can assure you this is by far the worse! More shocking it hasn’t been shut down. Oh yeah and when I checked in he stated since I only paid for a few nights my blankets and sheets will not be washed cause they only do it once a week per person

1 /5 Debbie Lamm: Stayed there last nite . The worst I have ever been in. If we hadnt been worn out from our trip there is no way we would have stayed there . $100. For a just pure nasty room .

3 /5 Kailee Adamson: Its not the best place to stay. I mean the people who ran the place was nice. But once yohr in the room, not so much. The room was freezing cold and it took literally 3 hours maybe more for the heat to actually work in the room. I had to call the front office and they were nice enough to bring a small space heater which we used to heat the bathroom and our room.

5 /5 Jesse Williams: So, Ive read a bunch of these reviews and I can tell you there is ZERO chance that the proprietors of this hotel could ever do anyone wrong. I am a decorated combat Veteran and through happenstance I needed a place to stay in Carmi for a few months. I was suffering from extreme depression and not only did the owner Wadi and his lovely wife check on me and encourage me to be more active in my day, when they dicovered that I was in bad shape they housed my belongings and gave me a free ride to an Evansville hospital to get help. When I was done they welcomed me back. They are excellent Christians and are even better at being family. I thank you Wadi and your family. God bless
