Laundry Barn - (Near Paxton, IL)

Helen Shih My review is going to be a bit unusual, but I was walking through Rogers Park when I was suddenly followed by a man, about 20-30 years old, wearing a black puffy jacket, black hat, and red pants. I couldn’t see his face clearly but I think he was either Mexican or black (or mixed) as he tried to speak English and Spanish to me. He and I walked past each other and when I turned my head to look behind me he followed me. He followed me for about 2 blocks before I decided to duck in to AMA’s boutique, where it was well lit and clean. I talked to the store owner and her daughter and explained my situation and they very kindly let me stay in the store and call a Lyft to avoid the man following me. They were very nice and I would’ve loved to buy something in the store but my Lyft came very quickly. Super grateful for AMA’s store owner and daughter for their kindness!!! I’ll be back on a sunny day in the near future to express my gratitude!!

Deke Van This is literally the ONLY store i buy “public” clothes from! I am visually impaired, and often use a cane. The ladies are always so helpful to me. Finding sizes or items that are “my look,” not “the look THEY want to SELL me.” I appreciate above and beyond the entire staff’s love, patience and grace they offered my brother, Andrew, who is severely autistic. Tonya Y. My daughter and I went in on Black Friday and found some wonderful products! Body lotion and scrubs-even a small soap for my son at home. They can even customize your items right there in shop. We also picked up two mystery bags and scored a lot of good finds-definitely well worth the money! I feel I can check off a lot of gifts off my list-especially the women’s gifts- by shopping here. The person helping us was wonderful and very helpful, too. We will be back!

candice foster This boutique is AMAZING! The clothes and accessories are very good quality, not to mention fairly priced! I travel almost an hour to shop here and my daughter LOVES this place! Every time we leave she tells me these clothes make her feel beautiful! They also offer some great products too. From the moment you walk in the atmosphere is welcoming and makes you feel so comfortable. The owner Cara is fantastic too! She answers all my questions and helps us find what we are looking for! If you haven’t shopped here you are missing out!!

Chad H Check this place out! The selection is wonderfully curated and the prices are reasonable. There is something to see on every display. So many things you didnt know existed but you need! The owner is super nice and it was nice to talk to the person offering all the cool stuff. If youre into chill retro vibes, its worth a visit for sure! We will be back!
