Mandy Frakes Carthage is extremely lucky to have a dollar general. It’s extremely sad that the company itself worries more about numbers then its own employees or customers. There have been quite a few managers that are excellent employees, that have left this job because the company doesn’t allow them enough hours to get done what needs to get done in the store. They demand too Much from their managers being employees, and it seems like they want them to put in off the clock Hours just to get the jobs done and make the store runs smoothly. Everyone in there is always busting their butt you never see them just standing around, yet the store is constantly so packed full of boxes and things in the aisle that you can’t get through or around the Store with a cart. I just wish the company itself would allow for more hours available to the employees so that they can get the store whipped up in the shape and keep it that way. Although this is not the only Dollar General in this area that looks like this. I know they lose a lot of business when they’re supposed to be open at a certain time in the morning and you pull up at one in the afternoon in the store still isn’t open because there’s nobody there to run it. It just leaves a bitter taste in people’s mouth when we have the building and the facility in our area but we can’t even get inside the shop because the company won’t hire enough people to run the store is it needs to be ran.
