5 /5 Michael Bishop: I LOVE this bookstore!!! This place is not down the street from me. I get in my car and drive two counties just for this bookstore. Im aware that on-line ordering has made purchasing books from brick and mortar stores noticeably more expensive. However, the experience at a quality bookstore, such as this one, is what those additional dollars are paying for. I browse books I wouldnt otherwise notice if I was scrolling on the web. This place offers coffee and candies that I can enjoy immediately with my new book purchase! No waiting for shipping! Not two or one day waiting. The book is in my hands!!! This also means I dont have to be concerned about damage during transport. I hate getting a book in the mail with a bent cover or dented corner. However, If there is a book you want and it isn’t stocked they will gladly order it for you. In that case, thank you for your support. The staff and patrons add to the overall pleasantness of the experience also. They share their love for the books readily! My last visit to Read Between the Lynes I was holding a book and another customer started telling me how great the book is. In the same visit, during checkout the staff member told me all about their enjoyment of the book I was buying. Try getting that from an online review! The cherry on top? Bibliophile paraphernalia! Bookmarks, pens, notebooks and the like! When I think about all of these extras I get simply by going to a bookstore I think my dollars are well spent! My recommendation is visit Read Between the Lynes. I dont recommend buying your library solely from here, but I do say buy a book or a few books, whatever your budget will allow, so that this place is around to keep enjoying!! My thoughts will hopefully become our thoughts after!
