The Shoppes at Meadowview - (Near Kankakee, IL)

2 /5 Sweat Less Travel: It’s a sad place. Once a center of retail shopping it was supplanted by a regional mall which also ultimately failed. New owners came in some years ago with grand promises to revive the place but they proved to be futile. The plaza is largely empty, anchored by a U-Haul facility which pretty much says it all.

5 /5 Heather Bryan: I went to do laundry at the Laundromat. Brand new machines. Fast in and out time. Out in an hour washed and dried. Super clean. The children have a reading play area they seemed to enjoy. Prices in vending machine are fair. Pop is a dollar water 75 cents. I am glad to have found this place. I was able to get my nails done while I ran the wash cycle because there is an app that shows how much time is left on the machine. After switching out to the dryer I enjoyed wing stop. Also yummy! Great relaxing experience. Time well spent.

3 /5 Wayne Day: Theres hardly any shopping stores left in the Meadowview Shopping Center! There all gone!Meadowview isnt the same anymore!! It used to have a lot of good stores here, but not anymore! Just a family dollar store, a movie theater, a jewelry store and a riverside health care store! Plus a few more stores to! MEADOWVIEW shopping Center is almost totally empty now!
