A Potato I was next door at the hair salon and had to stop in. I am so glad I did! The merchandise is absolutely well made and adorable. The prices were absolutely reasonable as well. My favorite part is that had sizes for me too! Love a size inclusive establishment. I got a few items and I will be back for more. Make sure to stop in if youve got the time!

Community Kindness Resale Shoppe - Belleville

sutherlandk19 Community Kindess has come to be my favorite thrift shop in town. Their prices have remained low as inflation rises. They have a large selection of EVERYTHING- clothing, housewares, books, vinyls, an entire room for picture frames alone, and a massive warehouse of all types of furniture. Community Kindness is staffed by very kind and helpful volunteers (I think) who have stayed on staff for some time, I havent noticed hardly any turnover. I frequent the thrift store for books (only 25 cents a piece right now), picture frames which regularly go on sale, clothing, furniture, and sometimes odds and ends things like glassware for a home bar or hats for painting in. I always find something unique and more than affordable when I visit.

Meghan van Ommeren Visited the store today, and had such a great experience. A lot of cute clothes at fair prices. I got a couple of new outfits and the girl who worked the store today was very sweet. She gave me a great opinion on a dress I tried on and brought. Love this place! Hope be visit again soon!

Bruce Moore The manager was excellent I’m not a bears fan or a Green Bay fan, She showed me some merchandise that got sent to her by mistake Michigan. If you’re her direct report, you should give this lady a raise she is a class act The store was spotless. Definitely will go back there.. Go Blue

Splurge Boutique - Crest Hill

EJ Howard I had the privilege and pleasure of meeting and doing a photography project with the owner, who is one of the nicest people I have met in years. I must say I was impressed with the layout and organization of the store. The location is just off Larkin Ave and if you just go straight west you will see the store in big, bold letters saying SPLURGE. While the current website shows mostly eyeglass accessories, "we just need a little more time" says the owner, "to get things in order". Tamekas new store is a recent transplant from Chicago and is hoping the Crest Hill and surrounding community gets to know her new SPLURGE location and give this established business owner your full support. So, please, come by and check out this beautiful womens boutique and give her some love. Oh, did I mention that the store offer a wide range of sizes for the hard-to-find? Stop by for a visit. Youll be glad you did.

Attic Antique Shop - Galesburg

RACHEL BOLTER I visited this shop today for the first time and wow there’s a LOT to see!! I left with an antique chair from the 1800’s and I can’t wait to restore it. If you love architectural pieces (doors, pillars, corbels, trim, windows, etc) be sure to go upstairs!! Lots of cool project pieces up there as well. I also love the primitive painted mirror I found. I will definitely be going back in the future!
