5 /5 Laura Lucy: OK... its really just a Circle K. A bit run-down. (Like most buildings in Jena) The parking lot was a hot mess... Crowded and really needing a pressure washer and some soap.
However, the service was fast and the guy behind the counter was more than courteous, if not slightly gruff... In all sincerity, he was beyond helpful, especially since we were lost (actually, we had lost someone) and nobody else anywhere was willing to give us the time of day.
In that kind of situation, they couldve been out of gas with a broken Polar Pop machine and Id STILL give them a 5- star rating, because I wont put down the only soul in town who still values kindness and humanity, despite what social behavior is commonly practiced.
Thank you, Circle K, for being the well-lit safe haven for weary travelers and lost souls.
