1 /5 Tia B: My daughter (25) is obtaining her Masters degree soon from LSU & yet she wanted to treat me by taking me around the boutiques in her area and we came across Versona and we found the nicest pieces,we decided to return a few days later & let’s just so we were treated like “criminals”,we were watched and checked on like “criminals”,we were spoken to like “criminals”….. I never felt such biases in all my years. I walked in with a bag on my wrist and they normally don’t zip shut,so I decided to put every item on the counter to make the “WHITE” woman comfortable! If I didn’t like the items I picked out I would have walked out and left them behind! I truly hope you remember my daughter & I and maybe a sign stating “Certain races will be monitored” may do the trick! I am so disappointed,so disgusted even saddened,I thought we had moved passed that. SMH. I will return to bring a pair of earrings back that broke and I truly hope you remember me! I am a professional, I am a widow whose husband served 28 years in the Army and 24 years as a local police sergeant….I served as a nurse for many years and taking any item from Versona was the last thing on our minds yet the girls (white) who you were all smiles with (you may want to run your cameras)!
