Angela Celeste May I always have a wonderful experience at the Peacock Room! This time I visited the store (a couple days ago on Sunday December 11) inside the Park Shelton because I needed a vintage 1920s Harlem Renaissance dress for a gala on Saturday December 17. There was a nice selection in different styles and colors that fit well within the amount that I wanted to spend. In fact, I ended up purchasing my silver glittery dress, jeweled headband with feather, and a gorgeous silver and black lacy stole all for just under $200. And Sarah (not sure if this is the correct spelling, maybe Sara) was wonderful! She was helpful, gave advice based on fit, my event, and the look I was going for, and so patient. Even as closing time arrived she wanted to make sure I had what I was looking for.
The Peacock Room is a class act not just in their amazing merchandise, but in the top notch customer care!
P.S. My gloves (which matched perfectly!) were either my grandmothers or my great aunts from Crowleys department store, my earrings were my moms, and my shoes, pearls, and bracelets were in my closet.
