Angela Celeste May I always have a wonderful experience at the Peacock Room! This time I visited the store (a couple days ago on Sunday December 11) inside the Park Shelton because I needed a vintage 1920s Harlem Renaissance dress for a gala on Saturday December 17. There was a nice selection in different styles and colors that fit well within the amount that I wanted to spend. In fact, I ended up purchasing my silver glittery dress, jeweled headband with feather, and a gorgeous silver and black lacy stole all for just under $200. And Sarah (not sure if this is the correct spelling, maybe Sara) was wonderful! She was helpful, gave advice based on fit, my event, and the look I was going for, and so patient. Even as closing time arrived she wanted to make sure I had what I was looking for. The Peacock Room is a class act not just in their amazing merchandise, but in the top notch customer care! P.S. My gloves (which matched perfectly!) were either my grandmothers or my great aunts from Crowleys department store, my earrings were my moms, and my shoes, pearls, and bracelets were in my closet.

The SCoop I like everything about this store, except for not being greeted by any associate, even though standing right in front of them, on multiple instances, throughout the store. Lighting is perfect, the selection is wide, prices are reasonable.

Kristen Steele National Dry Goods helped me out in a major pinch, able to supply a really random and specific request - a red 4XL polo shirt - on same-day short-notice. And, because I wasnt able to stop by the shop in person since Im in Cleveland, Ohio, they set aside the polo shirt for someone else to pick up on my behalf, and they did it all over the phone with a smile - which, even though I couldnt see them, was completely evident as I was talking to them. Thank you for helping me out in what felt like an impossible situation! Please support this awesome local business!
