4 /5 Marissa Fox: I am a bigggg time thrifter and I appreciate locally thrift stores over for profit places. Value world is where I go when I have a specific thing Im looking for- otherwise the sheer volume can be overwhelming.
Pros:
-Selection, especially for men.
-Regular deals/promos. Easy to accumulate points.
-Friendly staff.
-Clearance rack!
-I *believe* its not for profit! This is a big selling point for me personally. If you run a thrift store, and remember the demographic, it should not be for profit.
Cons :
-Its not sorted by size and instead by color. This fact alone will sometimes have me going to a smaller store to avoid the overwhelm. It can be extremely time consuming to go through a wall of black tshirts just to find the ones your size.
-Price. This is one of the highest priced thrift stores around. I only shop here if I have a 50% off ticket.
-ZERO organization of houseware things. Its just shelves of piles of stuff thats impossible to see what youre shopping for.
I go here often even with the cons listed :) just be prepared to spend a decent amount of time sifting!
