5 /5 Vanessa Green: Wonderful experience! Friendly, kind, helpful with every question thrown at them for it being mine and my sisters first time shopping for and Indian wedding. Alterations done right in shop as well to have everything fit costume to you. Would recommend this shop, it was worth the drive for us.

5 /5 victoria smith: I wish I could give this shop more than 5 stars! First time shopping for an Indian wedding and the ladies working the shop were so helpful. They offered me different style options that would work best for my body type and NEVER pressured me to pick the more expensive gowns. After my selection I needed some small alterations which they handled that day. I ran some errands and came back an hour later to pick the dress up. They also packed my outfit in bag so I can travel across the country with it. I will add photos after the wedding.

I walked in completely unsure of where to start — I needed outfits for a friend’s wedding and had no idea what would look good or how to wear them properly. From the moment I arrived, the owner made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. They spent so much time with me — patiently pulling out different options, explaining how each piece should be worn, and sharing thoughtful little details I never would have known otherwise. They never rushed me or made me feel like a bother; instead, they genuinely seemed to care that I found something I loved and felt confident in. Their kindness, patience, and attention to detail went above and beyond what I expected. I left feeling confident, cared for, and so grateful for the experience. I found a nice store online called Variety Silks in Shelby Twp and decided to go check it out. The owner was extremely helpful & knowledgeable and she had a beautiful assortment of colors and styles to choose from. She measured me and showed me a few items to try on. I tried on the first one and it fit me perfectly, no alterations needed! The colors are beautiful (green & gold) and I love how it looks on me. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the whole process was to find the perfect outfit. I highly recommend Variety Silks in Shelby Twp. You won’t be disappointed!
