Clothing Donation Center - Shop NY (Near Ithaca)

michaela mendez This store is usually my go-to for special occasions, so naturally I came here last week for an event. Unfortunately, this time was disappointing. I decided to go after I got off work, so it was later in the day at around 6:30, but from my understanding the mall closes at 8:00 on Friday’s so I figured I had enough time. The first thing I heard from an employee (likely the manager) was that the fitting room would close in five minutes. I understand needing time to clean and close, I worked in retail before, but announcing this as soon as I walked in felt unnecessary and rude. Why put me in a situation with only five minutes to find a dress and to practically run to the fitting room? However, the fitting room employee was kind and let me take my time, but the manager kept pressuring her not to let anyone back in once they left. I felt rushed and couldnt find anything that fit, so I gave up. To make matters worse, as I was browsing before leaving, that same manager loudly and aggressively started cleaning around me, which was a very clear (and petty) signal she wanted me to leave. Like damn, just because you’re presumably miserable with your job doesn’t mean you have to give horrible customer service. This experience was frustrating, and I dont plan on returning anytime soon. Just be aware of some rude and disrespectful staff members.

Crystalyn Brennan what a delight to stumble upon this adorable shop while exploring upstate! I was drawn in by the textural patchwork pillows in the window, but blown away once I was inside. The owner, Chrissy incorporates vintage and found fabrics and leather into the most beautiful furniture and decor for your home. Her wall of fabric alone is enough to make you swoon and dream of the possibilities of creations. She also occasionally sells some of her fabrics and surplus supplies on the sidewalk, during sunny weekends. I scored some vintage fabric quilt squares that were made from vintage ties.

Daniel Schwenke Huge military collection! It gets cold in there so wear a coat! pretty messy but somewhat clean in the cases.

Serenity literally the cutest skirts and dresses! i’ve literally been looking everywhere for this style (to get ready for the summer) and ive finally found it and for a cheap price with amazing quality! i got a skirt for $7, another skirt for $10, and a dress for $20!! im sooo coming back here :)

Kaitlyn Ruffalo My new favorite boutique!! The store displays are so well done and inviting. A great variety of products are offered that are unique and make for great gifts!! I went in just to look around and ended up finding some awesome Christmas gifts. A great variety of clothing, accessories, and even home goods and faith based items. The owner, Michelle, is such a sweet person who will go out of her way to help you and explain why a certain product is special, making it even more apparent what great gifts they have! Highly recommend checking Just You & Me Boutique out. I will be back!
